Scam emails sent to authorized automotive professionals

A "phishing" attack intended to wrongfully collect Vehicle Registration System (SIV) from authorized automotive professionals is currently taking place.


A "phishing" attack intended to wrongfully collect Vehicle Registration System (SIV) from authorized automotive professionals is currently taking place.

 

Scam emails, with the subject line "Contrôle de conformité - Statut de votre AGRÉMENT SIV" (Compliance check - on your Vehicle Registration System (SIV) AUTHORIZATION status) and "Contrôle de Conformité - Vérification de VOTRE CLÉ SIV" (Compliance check - on YOUR Vehicle Registration System (SIV) KEY) were sent on 7 and 12 January 2025.

The sender's address contains the following: dgfip.finances.gouv.fr. This address was cloned.
The message is allegedly and fraudulently signed by "ANTS - Expertise et Services, Service Vérification" (ANTS - Expertise and Services, Audit Department).

Please ignore this email and do not answer it.


The DGFIP (French Public Finance Department) and FranceTitres / ANTS are not the authors of this email. No State department would ever ask authorized automotive professionals for information about their Vehicle Registration System (SIV), digital document or secret code authorizations or approvals.

To ensure your data remains secure at all times:

  • If you receive phone calls or SMS from unknown numbers: do not disclose your credentials, passwords or bank details. You can report these scam calls and SMS to platform for tackling spam SMS and calls or by phone on 37700.
  • Pay attention to the sender's email address if you receive such messages as well as the message content.
  • Never click links automatically, hover over the link to check that it is coherent.
  • Be wary of attachments.
  • Change your passwords on a regular basis by logging into the website in question.
