- Would you like to recover your username or password?
- To do so, go to the "Log in" section at the top of the page.
2. Select "forgot your username" or "forgot your password", whichever applies.
- Was it your username?
Enter the email address you used to create your account. You will then receive your username directly in your mailbox.
Please note that if no account is linked to this address, you will receive an e-mail indicating that no account is linked.
You will then be asked to check that you have not used another e-mail address.
In accordance with our policy on confidentiality and the processing of your personal data, an account is automatically deleted if nobody has logged in during the past 12 months.
If this applies to you, please create a new account.
- Was it your password?
You will need to enter your username and email address for added security.
A temporary link allowing you to reset your password will be sent directly to your email address
Further developments to make the portal easier to use are in the pipleine. Until then, if you receive the message "An ANTS account already exists with this e-mail address" or "The e-mail address entered does not match the existing ANTS account", you should:
- For a passport or national identity card
- Go to the town hall or create a new ANTS account
- For a driving licence
- For a vehicle registration document (Carte Grise)
- If the request or application requires you to log on via FranceConnect (for example "Buying or receiving a used vehicle" or "Make another request about vehicle registration") you can use a FranceConnect account held by someone you know or contact an authorised professional.
- If the request or application can be made with an ANTS account, create a new ANTS account
If you have a service in progress, you can view it from your dashboard once you have logged in to your account.
Make sure you log in with the account you used to begin the service.
You can also click on the button "View your vehicle registration applications in progress" to view your registration actions.
If, after these checks, you are still unable to view it, please contact us using our contact form, specifying:
- the type of service initiated (driving licence, vehicle registration, passport, identity card)
- its reference number
- your last name, first name and date of birth
- the e-mail address of the account used
To avoid slow service online, we recommend that you connect when traffic is low:
Monday to Friday
- 12am to 9am: low traffic
- 9am to 1pm: high traffic
- 1pm to 2pm: low traffic
- 2pm to 6pm: high traffic
- 6pm to 12am: low traffic
Saturday to Sunday
- 12am to 10am: low traffic
- 10am to 12pm: high traffic
- 12pm to 11pm: low traffic

Step 1: Creating the profile
To create your ANTS account, click on "My account" at the top right-hand corner of the site.
Step 2: Activating the profile
An e-mail entitled "ANTS website: Confirm your account" will be sent to you.
You must click on the link in the e-mail to activate your account.
This e-mail is valid for 24 hours only.
Step 3: Finalising the profile
Clicking on the link in the e-mail will take you to "You're almost there".
This page allows you to:
- set your password
- enter your civil status: correct your first or middle name if necessary
- enter the answer to your secret question, which will be requested if you lose your password
You are now logged in to your account and can access all our online services.
At the same time, a second e-mail will be sent to you with your automatically-generated username.
What is FranceConnect?
Authentication using FranceConnect is reserved for private individuals and is compulsory for certain online procedures such as:
- Buying or receiving a used vehicle
- Making another request about a vehicle
This authentication means that the confidential code from your registration certificate does not need to be used when the request is being made on your behalf.
If you don't have a FranceConnect account:
- You can appoint a third party to do what you need done online
- Using an authorised professional
- Create an ANTS or NC connect account

Logging in to your account or user area
There are two ways to log in to your account or user area:
- Have an ANTS account
- Use an existing FranceConnect account
Using a France Connect account is compulsory for certain online procedures and means that you do not need to use the confidential code from your vehicle registration certificate.
How do the different accounts work?
- ANTS account
An ANTS account looks like this:
- A username received by email when the account was created
- The password of your choice
- FranceConnect account
France Connect is a system shared by several agencies. It allows you to connect to ANTS services without having to create a new account.
To do this, use the same login details from one of the following sites:
- Impots.gouv.fr
- Ameli.fr
- Identité Numérique La Poste
- Mobile Connect et Moi
- MSA.

If you are having problems logging in to your ANTS account because your password is not recognised, here are a few hints to help you out.
- First, check that the data entered is correct: upper or lower case, num lock, etc.
- Make sure that your account has been activated: You should have received an e-mail with an activation link that you need to click on to get to the final step in creating your account.
You can enter your password up to 6 times. On the last attempt, however, you have to wait 15 minutes before trying again.
If you are still unable to log in, please request a new password by clicking on "Forgot your password" and a new password will be sent to you.
If the problem persists after a new password has been generated, please contact us, specifying the email address associated with your ANTS account as well as your last name, first name and date of birth.
FranceConnect is the government's solution for securing and simplifying your access to online services.
It enables you to be recognised by all online services with the username details from one of your existing accounts:
- Ameli.fr
- Impots.gouv.fr
- L’identité Numérique de La Poste,
- Mobile Connect et Moi (on Orange)
- the MSA
- Alicem
Once you have done so, you can visit all the sites featuring the FranceConnect button without logging in again. No more juggling a multitude of usernames.
Step 1: Log in via FranceConnect
To carry out an online procedure via FranceConnect, click on "Log in with FranceConnect" on the “My account” page of the ANTS website.
Next, select where you wish to log in via FranceConnect:
- To log in using your Impôts (tax) account, you need to know the tax number and password associated with your account
- To log in via an Assurance Maladie account, you need to know the social security number and password associated with the account
- To connect using L’Identité Numérique de La Poste, you need your La Poste username and password
- To connect via Mobile Connect et Moi, you need the corresponding telephone number
- To connect via MSA, you need your social security number and the password associated with the MSA account
- To connect via Alicem, you need the telephone number for the Alicem account
Step 2
On the FranceConnect page, once you have logged in with the chosen username, you can continue by clicking on "Continue to Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés".
Step 3
Once you are on the home page of your account, all you have to do is choose where you want to go for your service.
